ABOUT

Rehabilitation of the Heart

Our Mission

Our mission at Rehabilitation of the Heart is to break generational cycles and restore hope by rehabilitating the heart. We understand that our environment plays a significant role in shaping our future, and we want to provide a second chance for those who have been raised in an atmosphere full of addiction, poverty, and crime. Our goal is to build strong children, families, and communities by giving individuals the tools they need to succeed.

We provide education and training, job placement, and support for mental and financial wellbeing. Our objectives include helping single parents become entrepreneurs, providing mental health classes for parents and the community, offering comprehensive services for ex-offenders, providing trade-based skills training, aiding low-income/disadvantaged families and children, supporting families with incarcerated loved ones, and exposing children to educational opportunities from an early age. We are dedicated to giving back to the community and helping individuals and families thrive.

Our Values

Help us shine a light so the people of our community can obtain quality employment and stability through mental and financial freedom. We value hard work, dedication, and respect.

At Rehabilitation of the Heart, our choice of colors, teal and purple, holds significant meaning. These hues symbolize suicide awareness, reflecting our commitment to supporting those struggling with mental health challenges. The heart depicted in our logo embodies the awareness ribbon, a powerful reminder of our mission to foster understanding and compassion. Our nonprofit is dedicated to breaking the cycle of recidivism, combating intergenerational poverty, and providing vital resources to individuals who may feel isolated and without support. Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to create a community where everyone feels empowered to seek help and find hope in their journey towards healing and recovery.

We all originate from an environment and that environment molds us into what we will become or not become in life. When you are raised in an atmosphere full of addiction, poverty and crime you only have two choices; become a product or become a solution.

It’s because of the pain and suffering of watching family and close friends struggle with the consequences of addictions and the vicious cycle of life that allowed Rehabilitation of the Heart Inc to be birthed. Rehabilitation of the Heart is all about giving second chances and breaking generational cycles. Our mission is to restore hope while rehabilitating the heart by building strong children, strong families and strong communities.

At Rehabilitation of the Heart, we want to give back to the community, individuals, and their families by providing an opportunity for a second chance in life. Our goal is to give them the tools they need to provide for their families and keep them off the streets.

We strive to not only give individuals the education and training they need but also placing them into jobs and helping with their mental and financial wellbeing.

The fulfillment of a vision of this magnitude requires certain resources.
